Papu Design has opened a German-language online store at as part of its strategy for international business development.

Papu Design, known for responsibly made clothing, accessories, and jewellery, is now seeking strong growth in international markets and especially Germany over the next several years. Responsibility is widely reflected in Papu's activities and, for example, Papu has been selected as the best domestic women's and kids' clothing company for three years in a row in Eetti ry's sustainability communication survey. Development work continues all the time.

“Papu Design's strategy is to strengthen international sales and increase recognition. Last year exports rose by almost 19%. Growth came particularly from the German market, where Papu has a foothold through international fashion and lifestyle online platform company Zalando. With our own German-speaking online store, we want to further strengthen Papu's recognition and sales in German-speaking Europe,” says Anu Vauhkonen, CEO of Papu Design.

Papu Design operates internationally, and products can be ordered from all over the world. In addition to the German-language online store, Papu has for USA and Canada customers, a Finnish-language and an English-language online store Papu has also its own online store for Outlet products at, where you can buy products from previous collections at discounted prices.

“Papu Design Oy, known for their high-quality and responsibly manufactured clothing, has invested heavily in online stores since its inception. About 3M EUR of the company’s turn overcomes from online shopping. Now the company is pursuing digital expansion with its German-language online store, which is an important part of Papu’s internationalization strategy. The company has already gained international attention as a Finnish, distinctive brand and thus has good potential for international growth”, explains Vauhkonen.
