How is the environment taken into account in Papu's operations? ”The clothing industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world, and our planet cannot stand the fact that we are wearing constantly increasing amounts of clothing. Papu gives up its kid’s clothing collection and focuses on the development of the women's clothing line
Papu Design Ltd, known as the manufacturer of responsible and high-quality women's and kids clothes, has decided to focus on its women's clothing collection. The decision to focus on the women's collection means that Papu abandons the development of his own kid's clothing collection, where the company's story originated roughly ten years ago. This decision has been influenced by a deterioration in the demand for kid's clothing and by the lower profitability than in women's products. Correspondingly, the turnover of Papu's women's products...
PAPU EXPANDS ITS COOPERATION WITH MOOMIN CHARACTERS
Papu's collaboration with Moomin Characters continues with a new wonderful and unique collection called Freedom. Previous collaboration collection was released spring 2022. In the picture Moomin dives freely in the underwater world to find seaweed and white pearls. Freedom pattern communicates people's need for adventure and freedom. “Tove Jansson’s delicate but determined line work and composition inspired us greatly!”, says Papu’s print designer Hanna-Riikka Heikkilä. The scale of the pattern is large, so that Tove Jansson's vivid and graphic...

The timeless Sense pattern is painted with ink. The black line on the sand-colored background is strong and even masculine, but still human and sensitive. The shapes of the pattern flow in different ways in different clothes thanks to their large scale....
