SIZE GUIDE
Are you hesitant between sizes or are you buying Papu's clothing as a gift? We have gathered tips for choosing the right size below and instructions on how to use product measurement drawings of women’s clothing.
WOMEN'S CLOTHING
Product measurements
You can find the measurements of each product of our women's collection on the product pages. The measurements can easily be compared to an existing piece of clothing that fits well, preferably an item that is as similar as possible.
The material composition is also on the product page of each item:
- The items with elastane are more elastic, so if you are trying to choose between two sizes we recommend the smaller one if you would like the product to have a tighter fit. When comparing to measurements of an item in your closet, choose a piece that is made from a similar material with elastane.
- The items without elastane, made for example from 100% organic cotton, ecovero or lyocell are not elastic – this needs to be taken into consideration when choosing the size. Compare to an item in your closet that is made from a similar, non-elastic material.
KIDS CLOTHING
Papu’s clothes are designed to last: they genuinely grow with the child. We use double sizes on each garment. Product measurement equals to the larger size. Double buttons on babies’ bodysuits, sleeves with foldable cuffs and leggings with foldable leg ends make Papu clothes fit children longer and extend the wear of the garment. Children grow up at very different rates and if the length of the child is not known, you can estimate the correct size based on age as follows:
- 62/68cm (3-6 months)
- 74/80cm (6-12 months)
- 86/92cm (1-2 years)
- 98/104cm (3-4 years)
- 110/116cm (5-6 years)
- 122/128cm (7-8 years)
- 134/140cm (9-10 years)
- 146/152cm (11-12 years)
These are estimates and therefore very indicative. For example, in products that go as gifts, it is always a good idea to make sure how tall child is so that the size is right.
Papu product measurements for kids are based on average Scandinavian measurement tables. The sizing is considered to be equivalent with the median size of a child in a certain age. You can check the general measurements for kids from the the table below.
