We manufacture our clothes responsibly and carefully so that they get the longest and best life possible even after their first user.
You can now either recycle your own pre-loved Papu’s easily and quickly through us or buy second hand from our own, curated and wonderful Papu Pre-loved collection.

Recycle with us and turn your pre-loved Papu’s to vouchers
We have made recycling as easy as possible for you:
Send your pre-loved Papu items back to us and we will find a new home for them! In return, you will receive a gift card to our online store with which you can buy either new or pre-lowed Papu items.
We will pay you 80% or 60% of the estimated resale price for each approved item as a gift card. You will receive the gift card almost immediately and you don’t need to wait for the clothes to be sold. Easy, quick and responsible.
Our recycling partner is Ninyes, which is the first and only marketplace for used, responsibly manufactured clothing in Northern Europe.
- Fill out and send the recycling form
- Pack your clothes and include a note with your name, phone number, and email address (see shipping instructions below).
- Once we have processed your clothes, you will receive the refund value and after you accept, we send you the voucher.
For each item that is eligible for resale, we will pay you a compensation calculated from the estimated resale price. The compensation is as follows:
- resale price of €10–80 → we pay you 60%
- resale price of over €80 → we pay you 80% on the value above €80
The compensation is paid as a gift card, which you will receive within two weeks of sending your items. A handling fee of €2.80 per item and any applicable shipping costs will be deducted from the gift card amount.
The gift card is valid for 3 months from the date of issue.

What can I recycle?
YES PLEASE!
Used Papu women’s and children's clothing and accessories (headwear and scarves). Clothing should be in good condition, intact and clean and have an intact brand label. The assumed selling price for each garment must be at least € 10.
NO, THANK YOU:
Dirty, stained, broken, clearly faded or discolored clothes. Clothes with animal hair or strong fragrance. Samples, factory seconds or clothes with cut brand labels. We won’t accept socks and hair accessories.
Why recycling?
In order to have all Papu clothes to be used as long as possible and to make recycling them as easy, as safe and as beneficial as possible for you. The greater the use of a garment, the lower its overall impact on nature. By recycling, we can greatly reduce the carbon footprint of our clothes.
