Papu's Autumn/Winter collection 2023 Proposals invites you to enjoy the beauty of life. After a long and bright summer, it's time to look at autumn and everyday life. Our fall collection, as the name Proposals suggests, is a proposal of products that we hope will become wardrobe cornerstones, reliable and inspiring partners for every day. Our collection has a collection of warm, deep and spice-coloured tones, but also a touch of strong green and pink. The collection features soft materials and, above all, style that lasts a long time. So enjoy our collection's high-quality materials, beautiful cuts and the enchantment of soft colors with all your senses.
Patterns from the AW23 collection
The familiar Wild Garden pattern from the spring collection is now seen in a wonderfully dark version. The dark blue base gives a nice glow to the gold and coral colored plants. The Wild Garden pattern is about a secret garden of imaginary plants. Plants have special skills: they can make music, their petals light up in the dark, and their leaves evoke peaceful thoughts. The secret garden is a place where goodness is empowering and where the moments of the past, the present and the future intertwine and grow together. The Wild Garden pattern is designed by illustrator Reka Kiraly.
Also, the familiar Sense patterns from the spring collection will be available in three different color versions: a cool and modern green-sand and sweet orange-light pink in the knitted products and a glowing red in the lyocell products. The shapes of the pattern go in different ways on different clothes thanks to their large scale! Sense patterns have timelessness, classicism, but still it is completely connected to this time.
Papu's collaboration with Moomin Characters continues with a wonderful and unique MoominXPapu Autumn Garden pattern. The pattern is adapted from the illustration of Tove Jansson's book Invisible child and other stories. In the picture, Hemuli has inherited an empty and broken amusement park. At the end of the story picture, you can see an amusement park that has been decorated and "repaired" in a new way, where all the little creatures can come to play and find happiness.
The motif of the Autumn Garden pattern wonderfully merges into a line-like surface. The black and white pattern is classic and harmonious and is easy to combine with other products. Papu has always admired not only Tove Jansson's distinctive illustrations, but also her stories, which have a strong base of values beneath the surface. Tove Jansson's works convey courage, equality and pioneering spirit.
AW23 collection products
A year ago, Pleated dress was launched in the collection. The unique feature of the product is the wavy pleating around the neckline and cuffs. The A-line hem can also be folded at the waist with the help of the included belt. Now there is a new knee-length Pleated Mini Dress version of the dress, so the dress is also great for wearing with treggings.
There is also a new addition to the series of popular elastic dresses, the slim fit Pliant Dress has fitted sleeves and a figure-hugging top. The hem is knee-length and slightly a-line. The back of the neck has a button slit as a detail, which lightens the look.
Familiar from previous collections – Papu’s makeup-up bag gets a larger version! It is made from thick quality canvas and has enough space to even fit a hair dryer and shampoos. A great gift idea for Christmas.
